This new holiday resort is being built directly on the Baltic Sea in the Eckernförde Bay (Schleswig-Holstein) on the site of a former naval base near Kappeln an der Schlei on an area of an incredible 86 hectares of land and 66 hectares of water and harbour - and practically all the holiday properties here are in a location that is unlikely to be found anywhere else in Germany on the Baltic Sea, surrounded by water on practically all sides: From the Schlei, the harbour basin and the Baltic Sea..
Shopping and excursion possibilities, restaurants, shops etc. are best found in Kappeln, 7 km away. The infrastructure in OstseeResort Olpenitz in terms of catering, marina etc. is not yet completely finished. However, some excellently equipped holiday properties in truly fascinating locations are already awaiting you here NOW!
In 2026/27, the marina will be extended and more cafés, restaurants and shops will be opened. There is a large EDEKA supermarket with a luxurybistro/restaurant, an Italian restaurant and the first small shops for strolling and shopping in the harbour mile. There is now also a children’s playground and an adventure golf course .
The public "Weidefelder Strand" beach directly adjoins the Port Olpenitz area to the south and is therefore very close by, is 3 kilometres long and has good quality sand. The beach is divided into several sections so that nudists and dog owners can also find their very own area. There is also a small beach restaurant, the popular LOBSTER. The menu in the restaurant also offers small dishes and fish sandwiches for a snack on the terrace - including a children’s playground. Cyclists can access the beach free of charge, car drivers pay a comparatively small parking fee.
Ideal for cyclists: 17 signposted themed trails, the Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route(www.ostsee-schleswig-holstein.de/ostseekuesten-radweg) or the Viking-Friesian Trail(www.wikinger-friesen-weg.de).

The cancellation costs for the tenant are 20 for cancellations more than 30 days before departure, 80 for cancellations less than 31 days before departure and 100 for non-commencement of the trip or cancellation on the day of arrival.
