The OstseeResort Olpenitz near KAPPELN/ Schlei is set to become the largest maritime holiday resort in Northern Europe by 2025 and is currently still undergoing constant development..
Directly on the Baltic Sea in the Eckernförde Bay (Schleswig-Holstein), this new holiday resort is being built on the site of a former naval base near Kappeln on the Schlei on an area of fabulous 86 hectares of land and 66 hectares of water and harbour - and practically all the holiday properties here are in a location that is unlikely to be found anywhere else in Germany on the Baltic Sea, surrounded by water on practically all sides: The Schlei, the harbour basin and the Baltic Sea!
Shopping and excursion possibilities, restaurants, shops, etc. are best found in Kappeln, 7 km away. The infrastructure in OstseeResort Olpenitz with regard to gastronomy, marina, etc. is not yet completely finished. However, some excellently equipped holiday properties in fascinating locations at fair introductory prices are already waiting for you here NOW.
In 2023/24, the marina is to be expanded and more cafés, restaurants and shops are to be opened. There is a large EDEKA supermarket with a posh bistro/restaurant, an Italian restaurant and the first small shops for strolling and shopping in the harbour mile. There is also a playground and an adventure golf course.
The public "Weidefelder Strand" adjoins the Port Olpenitz area directly to the south and is therefore in close proximity, 3 km long and of good sand quality. The beach is divided into several sections so that nudists or dog owners can also find their very own area. There is also a small beach restaurant, the popular LOBSTER www.weidefelderstrand.de. The menu offers freshly caught fish and regional specialities in the restaurant, as well as small dishes and fish sandwiches for in-between meals on the terrace - including a children's playground. Cyclists can access the beach free of charge, while car drivers pay a comparatively small parking fee.
Ideal for cyclists: 17 signposted theme paths, the Baltic Coast Cycle Path (www.ostsee-schleswig-holstein.de/ostseekuesten-radweg) or the Viking-Friesian Path(www.wikinger-friesen-weg.de).

Holiday together - but live separately?
The harbour flats "REEDER's NEST" and "REEDERs TOPP" are also perfect for a large family or two couples/small families who want to spend their holidays together but prefer to stay separately: Located in the same house, but on two different floors, these two flats in a double pack together offer space for up to 8 people, but also the necessary distance:

Heating costs are generally included in the rental price, but the electricity and water costs are billed afterwards according to actual consumption (in the case of the floating holiday home, the heating bill is also billed via electricity!)
A deposit of € 300,- must be paid in cash on arrival.
You can bring your own bed linen/towels or rent them independently from the on-site service in the form of linen packages (approx. € 21,-/person).

The cancellation costs for the tenant are 20 for cancellations more than 30 days before departure, 80 for cancellations less than 31 days before departure and 100 for non-commencement of the trip or cancellation on the day of arrival.
It is advisable to take out cancellation insurance for any cancellations
